FLASH VAPE Delivery Info

🛑 Temporary Notice — US Order (Sept. 26)

Canada Post has gone on strike again, marking the second strike this year. As a result, shipments to the United States will experience temporary disruptions and delays.

For domestic shipments within Canada, we will temporarily use UPS and Purolator to ensure timely delivery.

Thank you for choosing Flash Vape. To ensure transparency regarding shipping and related fees, please note: product prices do not include any customs duties or taxes. According to our policy, all customs duties and related charges are the responsibility of the customer.

🛑 Temporary Notice — US Order (Sept. 22)

Thank you for choosing Flash Vape . To ensure transparency and compliance with shipping and customs clearance procedures, we provide the following: Please note that product prices do not include any duties or taxes . According to our policy, all duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

1. Canada Post (Zonos system) pays customs duties

  • Canada Post has now officially launched the Zonos Duty & Tax system , which can calculate tariffs in advance before shipping.

  • If you choose Canada Post/USPS as your shipping method, we will:

    1. Generate tariff estimates through the Zonos system.

    2. This duty amount will be charged to you before shipment.

    3. After receiving the official customs bill, we will pay the customs duties on your behalf.

  • We will publicly display the tariff items and amounts calculated by the Zonos system to you to ensure full transparency.

  • The tariff under this method is calculated according to the Postal rate .

📎 Refer to the official description:
👉 Canada Post – US Customs Clearance and Tariff Update (Zonos System)

2. UPS clears customs on its own

  • If you wish to handle customs duties yourself, we can ship using UPS .

  • The tariff under this method is calculated according to the Commercial rate .

  • UPS will contact you directly (by phone or email) to request that you complete customs clearance and pay duties.

  • ⚠️ Please be sure to check UPS notifications to avoid customs clearance delays.

Special Reminder: Some customers have recently reported that UPS has returned packages despite collecting customs duties . If you receive a customs duty payment reminder from UPS, please do not pay immediately . Please contact us first and we will assist you in resolving the issue as quickly as possible.

3. Postal and Commercial tariff comparison

The following example compares tariff calculations for Postal (Canada Post/USPS) and Commercial (UPS) shipping methods to help you understand the differences between shipping methods:

4. Compliance with US tariff codes

  • The tariff codes we declare are in accordance with the classification standards of the U.S. Tariff Schedule (HTS) .

  • Customers can verify this through the official website of the U.S. International Trade Commission:

5. Summary – Your Options

  • Canada Post/Zonos (Postal Rates): Customs duties are calculated and collected transparently before shipment, and we pay customs fees on your behalf, making the process hassle-free.

  • UPS (Commercial Rate): You handle customs and tax payments directly with UPS, giving you more control but handling the process yourself.

If you encounter any problems during customs clearance or duty payment, please contact us immediately and we will support you as soon as possible to ensure your package is delivered smoothly.

🛑 Temporary Notice — US Order (Sept.08)

Due to the recent tariff increase by the United States, all courier companies (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) are required to collect duties and taxes before delivery .

📧 To ensure smooth customs clearance, please be sure to fill in a valid email address and phone number so that UPS can contact you to complete customs clearance matters. Incorrect contact information will result in delays or delivery failures.

🔎 Important Note:

  • UPS charges customs duties upon delivery (payable by the recipient upon receipt/before customs clearance). Customers must contact UPS and pay duties and taxes as required . We cannot pay or process customs duties on your behalf.

  • If the package has been sent and the customer refuses to pay the customs duties/refuses to accept the package and applies to cancel the order , we will deduct the outbound/return freight from the refund (including the original shipping fee and the return shipping fee, a total of 2 express delivery fees) .

  • Flash Vape does not assume any responsibility for delivery failure due to incorrect customer delivery address or invalid contact information .

  • Currently, the Canada Post (USPS) system has not yet completed the tariff collection upgrade . US routes are temporarily unavailable for delivery via Canada Post (USPS) until further notice.

  • During the tariff period, the threshold for free shipping to the United States is reduced to 99 Canadian dollars (before tax) . If the product is returned due to refusal or non-cooperation with customs clearance , the refund will be processed after deducting the shipping fee .

Thank you for choosing FLASH VAPE. To ensure your shopping experience is smooth and enjoyable, here are the details of our shipping policy, including free shipping thresholds, shipping times, and uncontrollable factors that may affect shipping.

All orders are processed between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM on weekends (Toronto time) . Holiday information will be updated on this website in advance. Same-city delivery is now available seven days a week in the GTA.

Express orders are processed and shipped on weekends. However, carriers only pick up packages on weekdays, excluding holidays. Benefit logistics updates are only updated after the carrier picks up the package on a weekday. Purolator generally picks up packages at 1:00 PM on weekdays, Canada Post picks up packages at 3:30 PM on weekdays, and UPS generally delivers to our transshipment warehouse at 4:00 PM Monday through Wednesday, non-holiday periods. Orders placed after these pickup times will be picked up the next business day.

For example:

Li Lei placed an order at 10:00 AM on a non-holiday Monday, so his package was picked up by Purolator or Canada Post on Monday afternoon. Han Meimei placed an order at 4:00 PM on a non-holiday, so her package will be picked up and updated the next day.

Li Leimei then made a second mistake, placing an order at 10 a.m. on Monday, the long weekend, but because it was a holiday, his package was picked up on Tuesday, a working day. Han Meimei followed suit, placing an order at 4 p.m. on Monday, the long weekend, but because it was a holiday, her package was also picked up on Tuesday.

Because we are located in Toronto, we are calculated according to Toronto time, which is earlier than our friends in the west.

Disclaimer

Please note that we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the following circumstances:

  • The courier address provided by the recipient is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The recipient's residential complex (e.g., apartment, high-rise building) does not provide a unit number or house number.
  • A package was sent on Friday but was not collected by the local postal system on the same day.

Important Note : FLASH VAPE uses third-party logistics companies (such as Canada Post and UPS) to deliver your orders. Canada Post Pickup Process (Primary Mailing Mode)

  • If the delivery address is a condo :
    • Parcels are usually left at reception or in the collection room.

    • If the recipient cannot be contacted, the package may be left at a nearby partner station.

Note : If a package remains uncollected at a partner station or pickup point for an extended period of time, it may be returned, for which the merchant is not responsible.
